After earning my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Stephen F. Austin State University, I followed a path that felt like home. My mother was a local insurance agent for 38 years, and what started as helping her during high school and college grew into a career I truly love.

Giving back to Nacogdoches has always been important to me. I currently serve with the Nacogdoches Education Foundation, the Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce, the Nacogdoches Area United Way, and the a leadership position with the Nacogdoches Boys & Girls Club. My husband, Heath, and I are also proud Nacogdoches Heritage Festival Heralds. Along with those roles, I have previously served as President of the Nacogdoches High School Alumni Association and have supported several other local organizations over the years. In recognition of my commitment to our community, I was honored to be named as the 2026 winner as the top Insurance Agent and Insurance Agency in Nacogdoches, as well as the 2026 Businesswoman of the Year by the American Association of University Women Nacogdoches Branch and the Nacogdoches Federation of Women's Club. I am also a recipient of State Farm Ambassador Travel and State Farm Honor Club recognition.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My husband and I married in 1998 after dating through college, and together we have a son, Campbell. We love being outdoors and enjoying everything East Texas has to offer, especially time at the lake. As the daughter of a retired sheriff who spent his career serving our community, I also have a deep appreciation for first responders and their dedication to others. At the heart of everything I do is a passion for helping people understand their coverage and protecting what matters most to them.
